Night time observing can get very cold so wear extra layers and bring a hat, gloves and scarf etc. It’s better to bring too many clothes than too few. Winter months it is worth considering bringing hand and/or foot warmers.

You will enjoy an inspiring astronomical presentation, before heading outdoors for a laser guided tour on the constellations. Using our large aperture telescopes, you’ll be able to observe planets, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.

In poor weather our team is ready with fun interactive indoor activities, virtual planetarium experiences and of course when there’s a gap in the clouds we’ll get you out outside straight away.

Yes, the Twice Brewed serves great food and drink, we have a large outside area for you to relax before the event. We do have an option to book a meal with your stargazing event, worth considering as the pub is often very busy.

Even though the British weather is unpredictable, our priority is for people to stargaze, even when the smallest gap appears we will take our guests out to look through one of our multiple telescopes. If during the event the clouds don’t break we will use our new immersive planetarium theatre which allows us to see the stars as they would appear at our location that night, we’d then explore the infinite universe regardless of the weather, from the comfort of our Planetarium theatre.

We are unable to issue a refund on the grounds of bad weather. Please note that we have never cancelled an event due to weather.
