Join members of Go Stargazing to learn the basics of astrophotography and night-time landscape photography.
The evening will begin with an easy to understand format to learn how to take photos of various astronomical objects, from the many thousands of stars in the night sky, learning how to take photos of Aurora Borealis, Nebulas, Planets and Galaxies.
Subject to conditions, we will travel to nearby Cawfields and Sycamore Gap to take photos of the night sky, where we will be able to see and photograph the Milky Way
You will need to bring your own DSLR Camera, Memory Card and Tripod. The camera must have settings to be able adjust the focus, shutter speed, aperture and ISO manually. The most appropriate lens would be a wide landscape lens with a wide aperture.
